I run AltorLab, an AI marketing agency focused on two verticals: US healthcare practices (med spas, plastic surgeons, longevity clinics) and US D2C ecommerce brands. Before this, I spent years on the AI team at Microsoft and studied at IIT Delhi.

How I think about AI search

The Princeton/Georgia Tech GEO research paper (arXiv:2311.09735) confirmed what we were seeing in client data: content with expert quotes improves AI citation visibility by 42.8%, statistics with sources by 33.2%. These aren't small gains — they're the difference between being cited and being invisible.

What most agencies miss is that AI engines don't rank pages — they extract information from them. A page that ranks #1 on Google can still be invisible to ChatGPT if it doesn't have the right structural signals: direct answer blocks, FAQPage schema, named authors with credentials, statistics with attribution. That's the gap we fix.
